House recognizes Loyal Union Lancers and memorializes former representative Steven Carr

HCR 251 congratulated the 2026 Loyal Union High School Lancers boys basketball team on a 56–53 championship victory, listed team members and coaches and directed the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Loyal Union High School. Members welcomed the team and coaches seated in the gallery.
HCR 281 honored the life and public service of Steven Andrew Carr, recounting his banking career, community leadership, service on select boards and three terms in the House of Representatives. The resolution directed the Secretary of State to send a copy to his family; the House asked family members in the gallery to rise and be recognized.
The House also recognized a devotional speaker and visiting ELL students and announced a portrait unveiling for former Representative Luvenia Dorsy Brightite.
