Following a closed session, the board reported that it accepted and adopted hearing-panel recommendations to expel several students in accordance with Education Code section 48900. Motions to adopt the panel recommendations were moved on the record (for example: moved by Dr. Wyatt and seconded by Miss Medina) and "motion carries" was recorded for each listed item.
The board also accepted notices of recommended disciplinary action to suspend a classified employee for seven days (personnel identifier referenced in the record) and authorized readmission or modification of expulsion records for other students per youth-court action.
