A library staff member accepted the proclamation and thanked the volunteers and staff whose year‑round recordkeeping and reporting supported the accreditation. The staff speaker said compiling the annual statistics and meeting continuing education and long‑range planning requirements were team efforts.
Officials did not announce new funding or policy changes tied to the accreditation; the city presented the proclamation to recognize the library’s sustained compliance and service to the community.
