The Borough of Wildwood Crest adopted Ordinance 1468 on Oct. 15, 2025, to fund improvements to various roads in the borough with an appropriation of $650,000. The governing body placed the ordinance on second reading and final passage, held a public hearing with no public comment, and passed the measure by unanimous roll-call vote.
At the meeting the clerk read the ordinance by title, describing it as “an ordinance providing for the improvement of various road[s] in and by the Borough of Wildwood Crest … and appropriating $650,000 therefor from funds available.” Commissioners voted yes: Mr. Schiff, Mr. Franco and Mr. Cabrera.
The ordinance will be advertised as required by law. No members of the public offered testimony during the hearing; the clerk noted members of the public may receive follow-up information from borough staff after the meeting.
The passage of Ordinance 1468 permits staff to proceed with design and contracting steps necessary to schedule the road improvement work; the clerk indicated standard advertising and procurement steps will follow.
