Assembly delays Eagle Crest advisory-board decision amid continuing cost and governance questions

Assembly member comments reflected concern that a governance change could deter hiring of a new general manager or otherwise complicate ongoing contracts. Supporters of a delay said it would give staff and the assembly time to evaluate proposals and align any governance change with broader decisions about the ski area’s capital program.
Why it matters: Eagle Crest is a municipally owned recreation asset whose potential gondola improvements and maintenance costs have been a source of public scrutiny.
