County authorizes weight‑embargo authority and schedules bridge, road closures

Harowski provided construction updates: Little Mosquito Creek Bridge (F70) is planned to close March 11 for work that had been scheduled around higher water forecasts but remained on schedule; Stewart Road will be closed in sections beginning March 10 with signage and staged barricades to allow crews to work progressively northward while maintaining local crossings where feasible; 180th Street in Pleasant Prairie has a completed culvert box and dirt work is pending dryer conditions.
Harowski said closures will be staged and signed and that contractors are awaiting suitable conditions to complete dirt work. The board voted to approve the resolution by roll call.
