On public safety, Kubak noted the addition of three officers (bringing the force to 18), expanded traffic enforcement initiatives, e-ticketing and license-plate reader cameras that officials said helped locate missing people and a robbery suspect. She also thanked staff and partners for code updates and development services upgrades, including Lakeside Consultants for commercial permit support.
Kubak closed by previewing community events tied to the U.S. 250th anniversary — including an enhanced fireworks show — and by thanking staff and board members for collaboration.
