The Riverside Township Supervisor reported the township’s finances and a summary of services during the past fiscal year and the meeting approved the financial report by voice vote.
According to the supervisor’s statement, as of the close of business on March 31, 2026 the general account held $523,856.45. Revenues were $902,319.54 and expenses were $805,326.46, producing an increase in funds of $96,993.08 for the fiscal year. The supervisor also reported the general assistance fund balance at $253,857.94, with revenues of $64,118.59 and expenses of $128,986.32, representing a decrease of $64,867.73 in that fund.
In the oral report the supervisor described cash-flow challenges from delayed tax receipts early in the fiscal year, building repairs including a newly installed service window intended to improve public service and staff protection, and expanded social services. The supervisor said the food pantry served 123 households during the year and that the township provided 91 gift cards at the holidays; 20 individuals received general assistance and 13 emergency-assistance applications were fulfilled.
After questions (none substantive were recorded), members moved, seconded and approved the financial report and the supervisor’s report by voice votes.
