Riverside Township elects Adam Wilt as moderator; approves $100 honorarium

The meeting, called to order by Township Clerk Jay Reyes, included a motion to keep the moderator honorarium at the previous amount of $100. Trustee Mary Rob Clark moved that the honorarium remain $100 and Supervisor Vera Wilt seconded; the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
A nomination was made for Adam Wilt to serve as moderator; that nomination was seconded by Matt Acostla and approved by voice vote. Adam Wilt was sworn in and recited the oath to “faithfully and impartially discharge the duties of the moderator.”
The meeting then approved the minutes of the 154th annual town meeting after a motion and second. No additional nominations were offered, and no contested races or objections were recorded during the moderator selection.
The meeting proceeded to routine township business after the selection and swearing-in of the moderator.
