He noted a drop in reported dropout rates from 9.3% in 2024 to 4.6% in 2025 and a rise in AP exam pass rates (76.5% in 2025 versus 62.8% in 2024).
Trustees took formal action later in the meeting to acknowledge the revised administrative regulation for the Uniform Complaint Procedures as part of the consent/action package. The board received the midyear LCAP report and heard that Tracy Independent Study Charter School's separate LCAP shows steady performance and lower chronic absenteeism.
