Molt highlighted recent student activities supported by the grant, including participation in an Indigenous youth gathering and a collaborative performance at the district orchestra concert featuring regional Indigenous artists. She also outlined efforts to integrate Indigenous history and perspectives into social studies standards, citing a KSDE-endorsed ‘‘essential understandings’’ document used in recent teacher professional development.
