Downtown West Bend Association and Bend Theater preview summer events and concerts

Representatives from downtown organizations updated the BID board on recent attendance trends and a full slate of upcoming events.
Phil, speaking for the Downtown West Bend Association, said two April events had lower participation than in 2025 and previewed a packed May schedule: a ticketed MomFest over Mother’s Day weekend, an art walk premiere and silent auction at the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOA) showcasing 50 new banners and a silent auction of 2024 banners, and a farmers market kickoff on Saturday, May 16 that will run almost 24 consecutive weeks into late August.
Noel, from the Bend Theater, reported a busy April with several sold-out shows and described a May program that includes Garrison Keeler (as listed in the meeting), a pair of tribute acts and a fundraiser with Roots and Branches. The theater is also a partner for the Music on Maine block party that will close multiple downtown blocks for the season kickoff on May 28; the Music on Maine series runs weekly through late August.
Other event notes: a blood drive with the Vity Blood Center is scheduled June 6 at the farmers market; the late-night luau shopping event is planned for June 26; and sponsors for downtown events include Westbury Bank, the Green Bay Packers Foundation, Horicon Bank, Summers Automotive and Hansen & Company.
Staff encouraged vendors and businesses to use the city events webpage to register for vendor stalls and to promote these events.
