The Mt. Healthy City Board of Education voted unanimously to approve a neutral, fact-based levy fact sheet the district will use to explain the May ballot measure.
Presenters said the brochure and companion web page will show how much the levy would cost, which taxpayers would be affected, and what would happen if the levy does not pass. The document is neutral and labeled "informational only," and the district plans to publish an online calculator allowing residents to enter wages and estimate their earned-income-tax contribution.
Board members praised the clarity of the presentation and approved the fact sheet on a voice vote with Miss Anderson, Miss Bryant, Miss Butler, Mr. Frasier and Mr. Kilgore recorded "yes." District staff said levy revenue was not included in the financial forecast used in the FRP workbook; presenters reiterated that the forecast assumes only measures certain and in-hand.
