Muskego staff preview Music in the Park series; Citizens Bank to sponsor bands

Recreation staff and an event organizer briefed the Parks and Conservation Committee on the upcoming Music in the Park series and related community activities.
The event organizer said Citizens Bank will serve as the title sponsor and will cover band expenses this season. The series will include shows at Gardens Park and Idle Avenue (three at Gardens Park, two at Idle Avenue), with the first event scheduled for May 27. Organizers said they prefer local nonprofit food vendors so groups can fundraise; the recreation department will also offer concessions such as ice cream and adult beverages.
The committee encouraged outreach and staff confirmed the community engagement coordinator will partner on events, a plant-exchange and other family-friendly activities around the concerts.
