The Muskego City Parks and Conservation Committee on May 11 reviewed a draft five-year capital program that highlights two major park investments: a 12-court pickleball complex at Moreland Park and longer-term development on the west side of Park Arthur, where clubs are pressing for additional turf fields and parking.
Scott, a city parks staff member, told the committee the Moreland Park concept is at an early stage and that staff’s initial budget figure for the courts and related amenities is "$750,000 with a group a donation of $300,000." He said the design is conceptual and will require stormwater work, noise-mitigating berms, and parking analysis before the project is presented to the Common Council.
