Sailfish Splash Water Park will reopen for spring break this Saturday, operating 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with season-pass holders admitted from 10:00 a.m., the park’s senior aquatics park manager, Savannah Fab, said during a 2MC podcast interview.
Fab said staff completed off‑season repairs and changes to concessions, and that the park will offer a new family food bundle (pizza and four drinks), upgraded extra‑crispy fries and a new Dr. Pepper Dip and Dots flavor reserved for opening day. "We can't wait to open up those gates and let everyone's families come through and enjoy," the show’s host said; Fab described staff enthusiasm for the menu changes.
After spring break the park will shift to weekend-only hours—Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—before moving to seven-day weekly operations starting the first Friday of summer, Fab said. Rental options for visitors will include cabanas, clamshell (large umbrella) spots and a four-chair shaded "funrella" product, which Fab said families favor for supervising young children.
Fab discussed staffing and training: the facility employs about 130 seasonal workers, many youth employees, and runs in‑house water safety instructor (WSI) and lifeguard training. "We are the largest youth employer in Martin County," Fab said, noting continuous monthly training and audits by their certification partner. The park is actively recruiting concessions attendants and lifeguards and plans to post openings on social channels and in the episode show notes.
The park will also expand public‑facing safety programming this summer in partnership with local rescue services, including demonstrations on properly fitting life jackets and sun‑safety guidance. Fab said promotions tied to those partnerships—discounted tickets and pass deals—are planned for the summer season.
Show hosts said sign-up links and detailed scheduling for swim lessons, rentals and employment openings will be included in the episode’s show notes. The episode closed with standard social-media reminders to follow the park for updates.
