Board members asked procedural questions and then approved the ordinance by roll call. The ordinance amendments cited at the meeting update section 5.38.020 (permit required) and section 5.38.040 (general regulations for mobile food trucks) of the village code to reflect the fee change and the allowance to operate at Cary Lake.
The board's action follows committee review and aligns permit structures with ongoing downtown and parks management goals. The measure passed by roll call with all present members recorded as voting "yes." The village clerk will publish the ordinance change per regular code-update practice and staff will follow up on permit application details and enforcement guidance.
