The project as described would replace lead service lines within the village and would include replacement and relocation of portions of the village’s water mains and work within public rights-of-way. The village is seeking financial assistance through the Public Water Supply Loan Program.
A copy of the project summary and the preliminary environmental information provided to the village by the consultant is on file at North Aurora Village Hall (25 East State Street) for public inspection during regular office hours. Written comments on the project or the IEPA determination may be submitted to the Village Clerk and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency; the board stated written comments will be accepted for 10 days following the public hearing.
