Lori Uchi of the Attorney General's Office advised revising references to the "Assistant Superintendent for the Exceptional Support Branch" because the bill's phrasing could refer to more than one position; she suggested language that would unambiguously include the Assistant Superintendent for the Office of Student Support Services and the Director of the Exceptional Support Branch. The committee accepted DOE and AG clarifications and adopted wording changes, including replacing "student coordinators" with "student services coordinators."
