The Nags Head Board of Commissioners on June 11 approved a package of land-use actions to allow construction of an employee wellness center with two workforce-housing units on the town hall campus.
Planning Director Kelly Wyatt told the board the request would rezone a portion of the municipal complex at 5401 S. Croatan Highway from R-3 (high-density residential) to SPDC Village Institutional to align the entire parcel with existing institutional uses. Wyatt said the planning board unanimously recommended approval.
