The Lake Forest City Council approved a 10-item omnibus agenda package by roll call, recorded 8–0, with the motion carrying.
Items included: - Approval of the March 16, 2026 City Council meeting minutes and the check register for Feb. 21–March 27, 2026. - Approval of a resolution to intervene in property tax assessment appeal 2025-01333 before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. - Authorization for the city manager to execute an agreement pertaining to settlement of the DuPont PFAS class action lawsuit. - Authorization of a recreation department contract for pickleball instruction with Jam Pickleball LLC not to exceed $95,000 for fiscal year 2027. - Approval of a grant agreement with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for $600,000 through the open space land acquisition and development program for South Park Improvement Project phase two. - Award of a design services agreement to RVI for South Park phase two for $180,600 plus 10% contingency ($18,060) for a total of $198,660. - Renewal of plan review and city engineering services with Gewalt Hamilton Associates in an amount not to exceed $45,000. - Approval of design engineering services for the Onondaga/Popular (Unwencia/Poplar) Storm Sewer Improvements project to Mackie Consultants LLC in the amount of $146,400 plus 5% contingency ($7,320) for a total of $153,720. - Consideration of Building Review Board recommendations for three addresses with ordinances presented for first and potential final reading.
Clerk recorded the roll call: Alderman Clements Aye; Alderman Notes Aye; Alderman Powers Aye; Alderman Lavertu Aye; Alderman Vazquez Aye; Alderman Weber Aye; Alderman Walter Aye; Alderman Novick Aye. The omnibus motion passed 8–0. A subsequent motion to adjourn also carried.
No items were removed for separate consideration. Several of the omnibus items carry procurement or grant conditions that staff will present in upcoming budget and implementation work as required.
