Commission approves preliminary duplex layout in Hinckley Meadows

Applicant Michael Zurn of Souvall Investments told the commission the proposed duplexes match duplexes already being built on Lots 5 and 6 in the subdivision, that setbacks are met and that both lots are large enough in the R1 zone to accommodate duplexes with two off-street parking stalls per unit. Zurn said he was not yet ready to submit a building permit application; the commission recorded a motion to approve the proposed duplex layout so Zurn could proceed toward a future building permit submittal.
The commission noted the approval was for the layout’s conformance with town code and did not substitute for required building permits, site plans, or engineering inspections.
