Vikram Dharwal, product owner on the CCSQ data and analytics team, explained the range of training types the program offers. Key formats include:
• Lunch & Learn: 30–60 minute lecture‑style sessions open to the user community. • Interactive sessions: ~1 hour hands‑on workshops with labs and code examples. • Code & Support Hour: new, org‑specific sessions (first‑come, first‑serve) planned to begin mid–late May focused on group code support. • Focus Sessions: ad‑hoc optimization sessions for specific teams to improve Databricks usage. • Weekly Challenges: a short, self‑paced pilot offering in Slack intended to collect common problems and suggestions for future trainings.
Vikram asked attendees to submit topic suggestions via the portal feedback button and noted some offerings are currently in pilot and limited to Slack‑enabled users.
