Commissioners and staff discussed My Sister's Closet, a local nonprofit, and the need to avoid interruptions to its services. Commissioners said the county would explore temporary space or storage options and encouraged the city to pursue housing-related avenues where appropriate.
A public participant made critical remarks in the virtual public-comment check for this item, saying the amendment was "covering up for the attorney's mistake"; no further public comments were offered.
The board recorded the motion to approve the amendment as carried by voice vote.
