Public commenters at a related county-level meeting had urged acceleration of a municipal-service review and alleged that public-records requests were not being fulfilled; counsel characterized those assertions as inaccurate and said the repeated public accusations unfairly reflected on staff who have been processing voluminous records for nearly a year.
The board did not change its public-records process at the meeting; counsel’s statement stands as the district’s formal response on record.
