Temple City’s City Council unanimously adopted Resolution 25-5817 on the city’s master fees and fine schedule for fiscal year 2025–26 after a brief presentation by staff and a public hearing with no speakers.
City staff said the schedule applies a 3% cost‑of‑living (CPI) increase to most fees; fees that would have rounded to less than $1 were held at their current amounts. Staff said the fee changes had been discussed during the June 3 budget study session and recommended adoption of the schedule.
The council opened and closed the public hearing with no members of the public addressing the item. Council moved, seconded and adopted the resolution by roll call vote: Council member Chavez, yes; Council member Chen, yes; Mayor Pro Man, yes; Mayor Sternquist, yes.
The adoption places the updated fees into the city’s code and implements the fiscal changes for the coming budget year; staff indicated additional presentation materials for the fees are included with the budget documentation.
