Trustees questioned total expense and reimbursement numbers; a board member cited a prior‑year expense of about $925,000 and stated the district received roughly $554,000 in reimbursement in 2023–24. Business Services said the transportation costs are part of the district’s special‑education budget and noted the number of students served can be provided to trustees on request.
A motion to adopt the plan was made, seconded and approved with no opposition recorded. Trustees asked staff to provide a count of students served and further breakdowns of costs and reimbursement sources for follow-up review.
