The Glendora Unified School District Board voted unanimously on Aug. 11 to extend the contracts of three assistant superintendents through June 30, 2028.
Superintendent Dr. DeGrazia presented the item and asked trustees to amend the end date of the assistants’ contracts from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2028 "humbly request[ing] that we extend the term of their contracts," citing continuity and the team’s work. A trustee asked whether making all contracts start and end on the same date was typical; the superintendent replied that it was done "to be fair and equitable" and for consistency.
A trustee also asked for clarification about compensation. The superintendent confirmed the item was an extension only and did not include any raise.
The board moved and seconded the motion and the measure passed 5–0. Board President Clifford announced the vote and congratulated the administrators.
Later in the meeting the board also moved and approved a previously presented agenda item (5.2) and approved the consent calendar covering items 7.1 through 10.4.
No public comments were recorded during the meeting.
