The presenter said the project reached disbursement 8 in the current pay cycle: "$169,862.84 for disbursement 8," bringing total project expenditures to $3,285,382.90 to date and leaving the commission's remaining contribution or the project's remaining balance at $413,617.10. Staff noted that weather has delayed certain exterior and shelter activities and that crews are conducting final punch-list and finish work as conditions allow.
Commissioners asked about lighting operations and neighborhood impacts; staff said lights will be scheduled and controlled to avoid late-night disturbance and that gate operations will be adjusted in coordination with police and fire to ensure safe access. The presenter also said the town has launched a trail master plan and pedestrian plan with Banning Engineering and will include commissioners and advisory committee members in upcoming outreach.
On motions, the commission approved the February 5 meeting minutes and accepted the financial report by voice vote earlier in the meeting. Later, Commissioner Brian Culp moved to accept claims totaling $184,516.37; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The commission set its next meeting for April 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. and adjourned.
