St. Bernard CIC seats new resident member and reappoints senior board members and officers

Meredith, who is stepping down from an elected role to serve in an advisory capacity, was formally appointed as an outside legal adviser. The motion to appoint Meredith was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board filled internal officer positions during the session. Members voted to appoint Chris Shmeer as secretary (to replace Meredith27s administrative role), to retain Tom Rolson as vice president and to confirm Jonathan Stel as president; the transcript records that Stel abstained on the vote to elect himself and the remainder of the membership voted affirmatively.
Minutes and routine business preceded the elections. The treasurer reported account balances, noting an unchanged First Street account and a balance in the Fifth Third Bank account as presented during the meeting.
The CIC did not release specific roll-call tallies beyond the recorded voice votes; minutes show voice votes carried for each motion. The board set its next regular meeting for Tuesday, June 25 at 6 p.m.
The appointments take effect immediately for board governance and administrative duties; members said they will continue to coordinate on shopping-center redevelopment and property-management matters at upcoming meetings.
