The Morgan County Council on March 2 appointed Matt Bolton to the Morgan County Public Library board to fill a vacancy created by a resignation for health reasons.
The chair said Bolton is an attorney who lives in Jefferson Township and has prior service on the Brownsburg library board; Christa said she obtained a positive reference from the Brownsburg library director and recommended Bolton for the appointment. The council moved, seconded and approved the appointment by voice vote.
The appointee was asked to complete paperwork for swearing-in and filing with the clerk; no additional conditions were noted.
