Residents reported benefits including improved mental health, increased security, and community support; areas for improvement included more mental-health services, more daily activities, and training for being a good neighbor and tenant. She also shared a resident success story about a veteran, "Ryan," who entered care in poor condition a year earlier, completed programming and milestone achievements and is pursuing employment. Ingwaldson framed the story as an example of how housing plus one-on-one support can produce recovery and community reintegration.
Commissioners thanked New Horizon representatives for the update. No formal action was taken during the briefing; New Horizon's comments were presented as an informational program update.
