Pulaski County commissioners approve minutes, payroll and contracts; board votes to explore Knights of Columbus purchase

The board also approved renewing a contract with Malcom (Indiana) to perform countywide cost-allocation planning (including Medicaid ambulance cost replacement work) and approved three conference requests for the assessor, health department and recorder.
On a separate motion, commissioners authorized staff to begin exploring the county’s potential purchase of the Knights of Columbus building — a roughly 20-acre property listed at about $500,000 — and to start the appraisal and due-diligence process. Commissioners noted purchase would require two appraisals, inspections, a county council resolution and any required public hearings; final purchase would be contingent on council approval.
