The Muskego Common Council approved a dance-hall permit and an outside-dance permit for Moo Inc., d/b/a Bass Bay Beer Garden, for dates through June 30, 2026, but members stressed the need for a clear site operations and parking plan before the city issues the permit.
Alderman Dilley raised neighborhood-impact concerns and asked that parking enforcement be limited to one side of the street and that the business provide shuttle service from off-site parking. "It's my understanding that for the parking, it's one side of the street that's gonna be enforced," Dilley said, and he asked for assurances about shuttling of patrons to reduce neighborhood disruption.
The chair responded that the Plan Commission had given staff (referred to as "Adam" on the record) the authority to work out reasonable accommodations and that the city prefers to minimize neighborhood impact. The chair said the permit would not be issued until the business site operations plan and parking arrangements were verified by staff and the Plan Commission.
Council also specified hours for the outside-dance permit: Sundays through Thursdays through June 30, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from May 15 to June 30, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. The motions to approve the permits carried.
