Staff reported they have developed a concept and scheduled a meeting with the town council president, the RDC president, representatives from Shirley Hines, the National Park Service, and a kayak advocacy group to discuss details and seek town approval to move forward.
The commission heard that more detailed design and approvals remain to wrap up the grant; staff committed to bringing a fuller update to the next month’s meeting once stakeholder coordination is complete.
