- Adoption of minutes for the April 28 meeting: Motion carried by roll call (three yes votes).
- Written communications entered into the record: Included a land-development notice for AMG Titanium in Nanic Township; an Act 14 DEP NPDES permit notice for a sewage facility in Shenango Township; and a Chapter 105 GP1 fish-enhancement permit application on Slippery Rock Creek. The board moved and approved receipt of those documents.
- Resolution 80 — Contract to update the county comprehensive plan: Approved (see separate article). The board authorized execution of a contract with Strategic Solutions and partner firms for an amount not to exceed $150,000.
- Resolution 81 — Children & Youth contract with Family Links, Inc.: Approved. Children and Youth director Don Andrews said the contract was needed to place a youth in care when county-contracted providers were unavailable and that the placement was ordered by the court.
- Budget transfers: The board approved an IT department transfer of $3,000 (from maintenance and repair to office minor equipment) and a district judge transfer of $20,000 (from office major to office minor). Motions were made, seconded and passed by roll call.
All motions recorded in the meeting were approved unanimously by the three commissioners present. Where recorded, roll-call votes showed Commissioners Sonado, Kennedy and Bogler voting yes. No items were tabled or failed.
