The board discussed future coordination with the Montana Department of Transportation because the bridge serves as an important bypass route connected to state bridge infrastructure. County attorney Blaine Bradshaw said the application and certification forms had appeared on prior agendas and that the current action was to formally authorize proceeding with the application and matching-fund certifications.
Commissioner Adler moved to proceed with the county's MCEP grant application and signature forms with Great West Engineering; Commissioner McLure seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
