Council Co-Chair Howard Plouffe read a letter from City Chevrolet/Toyota expressing support for a Montana Department of Transportation study of traffic congestion at 10th Avenue South and 39th Street.
Plouffe also reported he secured three Neighborhood Watch signs from NeighborWorks and said Crimestoppers will host a meeting for neighborhood councils to collect public input at Alliance for Youth on April 28. The items were presented as community updates; the council did not vote on directing staff to request a DOT study.
During the meeting neighbors Rebecca Bogden Richards and Dr. Mindy Sterner introduced themselves as Democratic candidates for HD23 and SD12, respectively. The council closed by announcing its next meeting on May 18 at 7 p.m., with Mayor Cory Reeves as guest speaker.
