Separately, the board approved application 2026‑02‑Z by Blake (transcript: “Blake Isabel Carnis”) to rezone about 10.66 acres from R‑2 suburban residential to A‑1 agricultural to allow farmland use and construction of a barn for horses. Planning staff reported a favorable recommendation from the Planning Commission.
Staff also presented a bylaw update for the Paulding County Planning Commission to allow the commission chair to vote; the board approved the bylaw change. Planning staff and the chair discussed the procedural change before the motion passed by voice vote.
