The Roseville Joint Union High School District board unanimously adopted the district’s 2025–26 school calendar and the Rose Adult School calendar after district staff outlined steps taken to align the high‑school schedule with partner feeder districts.
Staff said calendars were developed in coordination with RSCA and feeder-district administrative teams to reduce scheduling conflicts for families and to allow partner districts time to align their schedules. Presenters described constraints that keep full alignment from being exact: the high school district operates on a semester system while some feeder districts use trimesters, districts have differing numbers of professional‑development days, and some partner districts historically prefer different start weeks.
Staff noted the calendars include a weeklong Presidents‑week break and two weeks at winter break and that the district will publish the calendar early to help feeder districts plan. The board moved, seconded and approved both calendars; the motion passed unanimously. No roll-call vote counts were included in the meeting recording.
Board members said they appreciated the collaboration with feeder districts and with Sierra College on career and manufacturing partnerships, and they urged staff to continue outreach so partner districts can adopt compatible schedules.
