Northampton council accepts single bid for road materials, approves event parking and reschedules July meeting

Council also granted temporary no-parking signs for Northampton Leader Crone’s fifth annual Bike Night (requested for Siegfried Avenue from 9th Street to Birch Court on a July evening) and approved a short-term no-parking placement for a private event at 2247 Main Street on May 23 to accommodate a limousine. Officials reminded applicants that signs must be posted 24 hours in advance.
Separately, council voted to move the first July meeting from July 2 to July 1 to avoid a borough event conflict.
