Council accepts Robbie Bishop Parkway final plat; staff reviews GIFA loan change for waterline project

The city holds a GIFA loan originally for $2.5 million; staff said remaining project phases require somewhat over $1 million and that construction completion dates need to change because of delays. The proposed modification would extend the construction completion deadline to December 2027. Hullman said the city benefits from favorable financing as a Water First community and asked that the GIFA resolution not be placed on consent because final loan documents had not yet been received.
Next steps: staff will return the GIFA loan resolution with complete loan documents and a formal resolution for council consideration at the next meeting; acceptance of Robbie Bishop Parkway will proceed on the consent agenda.
