He told the commission staff will prioritize returning customers and vet applications over the coming weeks before opening remaining spots to the broader applicant pool. "If they don't return it [requested documentation] in 48 hours... we're moving on," he said, describing a short window to finalize paperwork for prospective tenants.
Sean said the next steps are finalizing the marina's master design, sending permitting documents to agencies in the first quarter, and preparing bid packets for the mooring‑field expansion with construction projected toward the summer. He also described design work for anchor systems and submerged land leases that will be phased as the master plan progresses.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about lease terms and documentation; staff committed to providing additional written details to the commission. The commission will receive further updates as permitting and construction milestones are met.
