Trilogy Engineering chosen as additional city engineering firm; owner pledges to double police scholarships

Harold Underwood, identified himself as a co-owner of Trilogy Engineering and described the firm's decade in business and desire to reinvest locally. In remarks to the council he offered a personal pledge to double the police-department scholarships the council had just awarded, saying, "I would like to double both of those scholarships... With my money." Underwood clarified the pledge was his personal commitment and not Trilogy company funds.
A motion to accept the recommendation was made, seconded and passed by voice vote. Council thanked the representative and said staff would coordinate next steps for contracting.
