Board expands kindergarten open‑enrollment slots after staff reports extra capacity

A trustee moved and the board approved expanding open‑enrollment slots to include the highlighted students, including sibling placements that would otherwise have been separated.
Staff said they will assign admitted students to Heritage’s fifth classroom and create waiting lists consistent with the district’s January capacities for other grades as needed.
