Steve emphasized the proceeds would be deposited to Fund 21 (gifts and donations) rather than using property tax revenue. Board members sought assurances about equitable treatment of other sports and whether scoreboards elsewhere in the district were functioning; staff said they would check conditions of other scoreboards and bring further detail to the facilities committee in June.
A motion to approve purchasing the second scoreboard and directing advertising revenue to Fund 21 was moved and approved by voice vote.
