Kenosha County board reappoints Silver Lake member, lists emergency planning appointees and approves minutes

The Kenosha County Board approved a reappointment and recorded several administrative actions at its meeting.
The board voted to approve Resolution 161, reappointing John Coffee to the Silver Lake Management District board. Supervisor Brown moved the resolution and Supervisor Robinson seconded; the committee record indicated it had passed unanimously at committee and the board approved the reappointment as recorded.
The agenda listed County Executive appointees to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (items 57–63): Craig Roki, Aaron Longri, Carter Hansen, Jeffrey Zimpanti, Mark Milich, Dave G. Jordano and Andrew Miner. Each appointment was referred to the Judiciary and Law Enforcement Committee for further review. Item 64 named Dan Ruth to the Kenosha County Traffic Safe Safety Commission and was referred to Public Works and Facilities and Finance & Administration committees.
During supervisor reports, Supervisor Decker read a remembrance for Stanley Kirkman, noting his 24 years on the county board (1968–1992), service as county board chairman from 1982 to 1984, longstanding community involvement including St. Alfonses church and work with Kirkman Brothers Construction, and requested a moment of silence following Kirkman's passing on Dec. 30, 2025. Supervisor Brown also publicly praised the clerk's office for its work on the elections website.
The board approved the minutes of Dec. 2, 2025 on a motion by Supervisor Garcia, seconded by Supervisor Decker. Supervisor Decker later moved to adjourn; Supervisor Stalker seconded and the meeting was closed per the agenda.
