At the close of the May 11 meeting, Hilliard City Council moved and seconded to recess into executive session "for matters pertaining to conferences with an attorney for council concerning disputes involving council that are subject to pending or imminent court action, charter section 2.101C." The motion passed on a roll call vote with all present members recorded as voting yes.
Council members recorded as voting yes were Miss Vermillion, Vice President Katone, Mr. Betts, President Cole, Miss Parker Jones, Mr. Teter and M. Russell. The clerk then announced the council was recessed into executive session; no further public business was transacted on the record that evening.
