Planning commission defers zone change; village advertises waste/recycling RFP and reports staffing changes

Tom Konst, reporting for the Planning Commission, said the Commission considered two matters at its meeting earlier the same day. A request by Greg Magee (729 N. Lisbon St.) to rezone property from B-1 to B-2 to operate a car dealership failed to advance for lack of a second; the Commission moved to the next item. The Commission also discussed a school property scheduled for auction and a proposal to divide it into eight lots, but no representative from the school or the auctioneer appeared and Commissioners postponed action until more information is provided.
