South Shore Sailing School asks Michigan City Port Authority to include nonprofit in lease talks

"Any changes to our space or cost structures have a direct impact on our ability to plan, programming, staffing, and scholarships," Moore said. He said the organization had submitted a written request to meet with the authority to "connect and better understand the direction being considered" and asked to be included in conversations before any final decisions are made; he provided extra copies of the written request to board members.
A board member responded that the matter is "all in the planning stage." No formal meeting or timeline was committed on the record at the meeting.
